Bard’s Legislative Breakfast to Focus on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

 

HARRISBURG —"Sexual Harassment in the Workplace" will be the theme for Montgomery County lawmaker Rep. Ellen M. Bard’s (R-153) next legislative breakfast.

"Public attitude and the laws regarding this important topic are constantly changing," Bard said. "This breakfast will serve to update business leaders, job trainers, human resource specialists and all others impacted by employer-employee relations on sexual harassment."

The scheduled guest speakers are Sandra Holman Bacote, regional director, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission; and Kathy Speaker MacNett, shareholder, Buchanan Ingersoll.

Five area chambers of commerce are co-hosting the event, including Greater Willow Grove, Eastern Montgomery County, Greater Glenside, Rockledge/Fox Chase, and MONTCO.

The event will take place at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 27, at Willow Grove VFW, located at 305 Moreland Road, Willow Grove. The event is free of charge and the public is welcome. Reservations are required and must be submitted by Monday, April 23.
