In past, and coming up again soon, Representative Bard has held a competition entitled "There Ought To Be A Law". The contest is designed to stimulate student interest in state government. Participants are Abington/Rockledge public and non-public school children in grades 4-6. Winners and their families have been invited to be Representative Bard's guests during a visit to the state capitol to meet with drafting attorneys and members of the House of Representatives.
